Riyadh Terminal Help
I am arriving at RUH at 8:50 PM on an AF flight. I am scheduled to depart RUH for AJF on SV at 10:20pm. My itinerary says arrival at Terminal 2 and departure at Terminal 1 but not sure of that. I will have to check in with SV since this was issued as two separate e-tickets. I cannot check in before I leave my office in the US because it will be outside of the 24 hour window. I will try to get computer access w/printer somewhere in ATL or CDG during layover and try to check in on-line. I will have carry-on only. I am looking for advice/pointers to help me with what I assume is a tight connection. The next flight to AJF is at 5:30am and even with the flight a week away, there are only two seats available. I will be traveling in J but understand that doesn't make much of a difference in this process.
Regards.
Regards.

ok I'm trying to help over here but I think that your post here is about the assignment of the terminals at RUH? well, SV has its own terminal at RUH, which is terminal 2. Terminal 1 is labeled "foreign international airlines'', that's what it says so its everything besides SV. Distance to each other? almost none, next to each other but its a good walk if they are requesting you to pickup your luggage and check it in at SV's counter.

Ugh. Not sure this is terribly advisable unless you know you can do OLCI. (SkyClub in ATL, since it appears you're ST E+ and flying ST over the water?) SV uses Terminal 2. I've only flown internationally out of there, but the check-in counter will be excruciatingly slow. That's a for sure situation. You'll also have to get through immigration and customs upon arriving at RUH, right? Not sure how you get all that done in 90 minutes with changing terminals.

NO CHANCE..
Sorry for the big negative here, but you have little chance. One thing you are fogetting, is that this will be an international to domestic flight, you will be in immigration a fair while. Those arriving for the first time are subject to eye scans and finger prints - all 10! One person can be at the counter for minimum 5 minutes. Even if you are first off the flight, there is a flight in from karachi 15 minutes before - nightmare! You also land within the same 20 minute windoiw as a khatoum, a frankfurt, amman and a cairo. I think it safe to say you will be waiting a while to clear immigration........

No way I'd try it. The immigration lines at RUH can be 10 minutes or 2 hours:

As a frequent visitor to Riyadh I can confirm for you the following layout for RUH:
Terminal 1 all international airlines with the inclusion of SV+AF+XY
Terminal 2 All SV international flights and AF and XY
Terminal 3 All SV and XY domestic flights
Terminal 1 all international airlines with the inclusion of SV+AF+XY
Terminal 2 All SV international flights and AF and XY
Terminal 3 All SV and XY domestic flights
