Pullman Hotels
Assuming a 5-star scale, can anyone tell me where the Pullman chain aims?
I love the old Paris Hilton (now Pullman) Avenue Suffren location, but don't know the Pullman reputation.

Pullman is the new branding for many upscale hotels in the Accor group.
A number of the now-Pullman-branded hotels were Mercure Grand hotels.

They are meant to be positioned slightly below Sofitel:

Still, 4 (out of 5) stars was what the old Paris Hilton was, and that was good enough, given the location. Pullman might be worth a try.
Thanks.

I think that Accor is aware of the lack of consistency of their brands until now.
My understanding is that Sofitel will remain the top brand (my Accor A|Club card is co-branded Sofitel "Luxury hotels") , and Pullman will be set at 4 stars. Many Sofitel should be rebranded Pullman if they don't meet the criteria.

All the Sofitels that I used to stay in have been transformed into Pullman. It's intended to be a high end business hotel. I would assume when they complete the renovations the old Hilton will be very nice.

The new positioning of Sofitel is now very exclusive (cf. excellent Sofitel Saint James London, Sofitel New York, Sofitel Buenos Aires, Sofitel Washington, Sofitel Roma, Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, Sofitel Am Gendarmenmarkt Berlin, Sofitel Bayerpost Munich, Sofitel The Grand Amsterdam, Sofitel Los Angeles, Sofitel Nicolas Santo Domingo, Sofitel Marrakech, ...)
The positionning of Pullman hotels is close to the best Crowne Plaza hotels (the meeting place, modern design).
Most of them are very good (Pullman Chateau de Versailles, Pullman Marseille Palm Beach, Pullman Cannes Mandelieu Royal Casino, Pullman Berlin Schweizerhof, Pullman Madrid Airport & Feria), some are excellent (Pullman Bangkok King Power, Pullman Aachen Quellenhof).

As the Pullman hotel group has been solidly within Accor hotels, this thread will be closed and discussion of the Pullman properties is invited in the dedicated forum on Accor properties. Thanks, Ocn Vw 1K, Senior Moderator.
