Checking in, Checking out 250 each stay???

If you earn 250 per qualifying stay, I read that as once you check in and once you check out?
But can you check in and out everyday (even if you have to switch rooms) for 5 separate days and get 250 for every night? Do you think you can do this with the agent or on site or are they gonna call BS on the idea?

Uh ............ no.

I assume you're talking about Choice Privileges, but the same holds true for every hotel program I know of, to wit:

The Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) specifically exclude checking out and checking in to the same hotel -- that is, they count the number of days you started at a given hotel and count to the day you leave that hotel (as evidenced by the fact you have no activity for the next night). One or more consecutive nights at the same hotel counts as one stay. The room doesn't matter.

What they do not prohibit is what we call "hotel hopping" -- in that case, you stay at one hotel one night, check out and check into a different hotel the next night, and then either go back to the original hotel or off to a third one or whatever -- the object is to stay no more than one night which qualifies for the "stay" requirement.

It's a lot easier if the promo in question requires "nights" instead of "stays" -- nights can be consecutive in the same hotel.

All clear now?
