Adam's Mark Buffalo
This hotel in downtown Buffalo is a dump. From the outside it looks nice, the big fountain and the circular arrival area, and the wide, open lobby. But the rooms are dumps.
Two separate stays here this week. The room I have tonight: carpet has black oil-and-grease-looking stains all around and a cigarette burn in it. There are some fingernail clippings on the carpet by the nightstand, and spider webs and accumulated dirt and dust by the wall heater.
When I checked out the other day, someone was waiting 15 minutes to get their car retrieved by valet parking, and after I got checked out, and walked a hundred yards to the covered parking garage, there was the front desk mgr trying to retrieve the valet-parked car, by means of walking around and clicking the key fob to locate the car. Ironically it was parked a few spots away from mine.
Previous stay was similarly below expectations. Most notabley, rez was for double beds, but even when hotel was almost empty I got a room with one king bed, and no mention whatsoever of why.
There is one thing this prop has going for it is a convenient downtown location. And apparently visiting sports teams stay here when they have games in town, NE Patriots for example this past weekend.

Used to be a Hilton way back. The downtown Hyatt is apparently a dump too. Buffalo is not the most happening city economically speaking so this is liley the culprit.
