Decatur, TX - nice Comfort Inn

Newer place. Forget the pool and hot tub - they are located outdoors at the front of the hotel. Normally not a huge issue, but their front area is dirt, so every vehicle kicks up dust. Yuck!

Good complement of TV channels. Microwave, Refrigerator and Coffee Maker standard in every room.

Phone on nightstand (with dataport) and in bathroom. Also have data jack on a wall.

$49/night. I would definitely stay there again.

I too stayed at a nice Comfort Inn in College Station Texas on my birthday. Nice basic amendities, somewhat nicer than some Sheratons I have stayed in.

Decent service, good price, also 49 dollars a night. They even had a continental breakfast.

And it's right near the Outback Steakhouse where there are differing accounts of what I did during my Texas vacation between my version and JAWS (trust MY VERSION> )
