Kimpton Upgrades

Hi,

I had a couple questions regarding the upgrade certificates you get when achieving Tier 3.

- Are they generally pretty strict about upgrading you just one room class or will they put you in a suite if it's available?

- Is it possible to use 2 upgrade certificates on one stay to move up multiple room classes?

Thanks!
John

1. Depends on the property. I gifted a Tier 3 cert to a friend (I'm Inner Circle) and the Marlowe in Cambridge upgraded her into a suite, but I did send a note to the property before her arrival asking for additional consideration.

2. You can't stack certificates.

Thanks! I'm staying at the Canary in Santa Barbara so the suites seem pretty pricey. Good to know it's a possibility though. I let them know it's my anniversary when I called so hopefully that helps the cause.
