Don't join or add to 'Swissôtel Circle'
Why is Swissôtel currently promoting their loyalty programme, Swissôtel Circle, when it is soon to disappear with Accor's takeover?

I read back in July when the transaction completed that Swissôtel Circle "will remain unchanged for now".
There was some mention of integration into Le Club AccorHotels (no timeline), but that programme is quite different in nature to Swissotel Circle. It would be very difficult to work out some transfer of membership, e.g. as a Eleva level member, I get free breakfasts, and I'm qualified for renewal out to Jan 2019.
Having been a member of Le Club AccorHotels, unless it has had a substantial upgrade I'd not really want back in ... I thought it was woeful.
