I attempted one a couple of weeks ago for the Allerton in Chicago. I filed on Friday morning. Got a response email on Staurday afternoon stating that the person who handled it was on a business trip and would return my email at her earliest convenience. Monday got another response from another person. Went back and forth with her thru email repeatedly sending screenshots and still got no satisfaction. I pointed out that on four other websites it stated that the room had a queen size bed, but all she would say is that the base room has a full bed.

Funny - I got a similar out of office on business as the first automated response, then today got a "I forwarded your request to someone in the US" and now nothing. Rate is still on the other site and I have a screen shot from two days ago.
