Fire at the Delta Quebec City
2 days ago, an electrical fire at the Delta in YQB kicked out a little over 250 guests in the streets at minus 20C. Luckily the help was quick and city buses were parked right in front of the hotel to offer shelters, especially to those who only had their bathing suit on them, as they got evacuated straight from the swimming pool to the artic air!!
Hotel has been shut down for the last 2 days and is reopening tonight (March 7th).
No injuries and guest were relocated at the Hilton nearby and the Courtyard by Marriott.
