Kimpton Global Business Program...Thoughts?

Are there any FT members who regularly use a Kimpton Global Business ID/rate code?

Any thoughts or reviews on the value of the program?

If it simply provides a basic 10% off BAR then I will likely not pursue it since there is usually a charitable promo code that provides a comparable discount.

I got a GBP code a year or two ago. I think I've only ever actually used it once or twice (because there are usually better rate codes available, like you said). But, it's easy to get and doesn't hurt to have around just in case.

similar to 421's experience except that I don't think that I have used it.

I've used it often

When there are no other discount codes available. It is often 10-20% off of the regular rate. But it isn't always better, so you really do have to check.

Always keep it around for when you're in a jam. I had 20ish nights last year and only used GBP for 3 of them...but it still saved me about $120 and cost me nothing to acquire.
