malev giving up on long-haul flights to focus on Europe

Malev has announced it'll be giving up TATL service (namely YYZ and JFK) in late Sept. and late Oct. respectively and will focus on intra-European flights instead. The 767s will go, as will the F70s and CRJs which will be replaced with DH8-400s. The 737s will remain to become the backbone of the busier routes.

What a shame.. I hear their BKK-flights used to be packed but I guess revenue was still low. Perhaps OK can take over some of their passengers?

with the one and only remaining 310? Even though it should actually arrive from refit today, still a far cry...

Well, it was more of a dream than reality

OK has 3 active A310 and one (OK-YAD) went to AI?

The 767 are pretty new and should fetch a good return.

Nonetheless, rumour has it YAC is the only one to stay, the other ones won't even get the new livery and refurbished cabins, I expect them to go soon.
