Vueling changes the date of my flight

Vueling changes the date of my flight
ok, so I thought I goofed up and made a sort of big [but fixable] mistake. I had booked a flight on Vueling on Dec 7th, from BCN to MRS.
I got an email about a month ago with a slight time change. Ok, no biggie.
Then I was adding prepaid baggage to the flight last week and realize that flight is Dec 8th! So I do some maneuvering and change some hotel details and all's well. Still don't understand how I made that mistake, I am pretty careful.
Well, I was just now reviewing the reservation and I look at the original confirmation - and it was indeed for the 7th! I check online and the reservation is the 8th! So, all is in place but bottom line is they changed the flight by an entire day! Don't know why, there are flights and seats on both days.
