Frequent Flyer program recommendation?

Hey everyone;

I'm going on exchange next term (September - February) to Amsterdam and since it's my last semester of law school and I have a job lined up when I'm done, I'm looking to do some fairly frequent traveling within Europe. Do you think it's worth trying to sign up with a particular airline's flyer program? If so, which one? I'd like to be taking a trip like every two weeks ideally to different destinations within Europe, and back to Amsterdam.

Or would it just make more sense to stick with a budget airline that has no rewards program?

Thanks!

Flying Blue or Delta

From Amsterdam you will mainly be flying on KLM, their no-frills daughter Transavia, Easyjet or the very different airlines from your various destinations. So most flights will probably be on Skyteam, with some Star Alliance, some oneworld and various non-alligned.
You should apply at least for one Skyteam card, but check if AF/KL gives you more collecting opportunities on sight or if your local Skyteam airline gives you more spending opportunities once you return from Amsterdam.
