I've flown Air Asia a few times with no problems. The flights were on time, the planes were clean, service acceptable and, best of all, the price is always unbeatable. I flew from BKK to Chiang Mai in January this year. We were bussed to the plane. Most passengers were eager to board the bus and Air Asia really crams the buses full of people. I would recommend that you try and board last. You will then be one of the first ones to alight the bus and board the empty aircraft and thus find a good seat.
