Korean Air expects losses in 2000 on fuel costs

South Korea's flagship carrier Korean Air Lines said on Wednesday it was likely to post losses in fiscal 2000 due to high fuel costs.

I wonder if they factor in the airplane legal fees and settlements for the crashes over time or do they simply take a one time charge?

I used to fly Korean on occasion (first class) Internationally, but when their planes started falling out of the skies, I said no more.
