Special fare for those born in 1959?
Was on Travelocity looking for fares for JFK-HKG. I was surprised when it returned a fare basis XR195 from China Airlines for $195 RT JFK-HKG.
Here's the ticket restrictions for XR195:
NOTE: VALID FOR PASSENGER BORN IN THE YEAR OF 1959 WITH ID. ----- PROOF OF PASSPORT OR LEGITIMATE ID ARE REQUIRED TO VERIFY DATE OF BIRTH WHEN TICKETS ARE PURCHASED AND CHECK-IN AT AIRPORT COUNTER. NO SALES RESTRICTION APPLY.

China Air was started in 1959. That makes them 40 years old this year.
To celebrate, they offered this fare to all people born in 1959.
Travel must be completed some time in November. Not sure of the day.
