KUL-BKK afternoon departure. Is it 777 or 747? has anyone tried this route in first?
It's a 333.
There should be no F on this route any more, unless MH hasn't finished updating all of its 333's, which used to have a 60" pitch F cabin and a 40" pitch C cabin. Now there is only a larger C cabin with 45" pitch.
Nothing very special I noticed in F on this route last year: electrically reclinable cloth seats with legrests, similar to a good long-haul C seat, good food, wine, and service, and mostly, less people than in the usually sold-out C cabin.
Also this gave access to the superior F side of MH's lounge at KUL. In BKK MH uses TG lounges.

Checking again, it appears MH scheduled a 772 on some Saturdays this October, and probably does so on high demand days.
The schedules for the following months show the expected 333's both for MH and TG, but for nearer dates I see a hodpodge of TG M11, AB6, 333, 777, and 773, along with MH 333 and the odd 772 (which for the time being still has a FC cabin; do a search in this forum for details).
The evening 744 on this route is a LH plane codeshared with TG, and due to be replaced by a 346 in November.

Aren't they planning to revamp their First cabin any time soon?
