Redeeming miles for a Citilink (or Sriwijaya Air) flight DPS-DIL-DPS
Does anyone have any experience redeeming points for a Citilink flight? I'm trying to get to DIL from DPS (although flying from SIN would also be an option). It looks like Citilink and Sriwijaya Air both fly DPS-DIL. I'm open to any options here, but from what I've seen so far I should be able to use GarudaMiles to book an awards ticket on CitiLink (via: https://www.garuda-indonesia.com/gar...-citilink.page ) so that's the angle I'm trying to research initially. I assume I can transfer points from another SkyTeam program into Garuda and then use those to book a Citilink flight. At least that's my hope. Cash prices are in the $500 range for a 1 hour flight. Seems excessive!
Any advice here would be greatly appreciated!

Very few ffp's allow ff miles to be transferred out to another ffp/hotel program.
Why not pay cash?
Assuming you have passport/visa to enter East Timor

A few months ago, prices were in the ~$200 range. Now they are up over $500. From what I've been told there is currently a "situation" with the two governments of Indonesia and Timor Leste that is creating the spike in prices. Rumor has it that should be resolved in a couple weeks. Long story short, I find it hard to justify $500 for a 1 hour flight. So that's why I am pursuing the miles angle.

Where did you see that it's 10,500 miles? Were you able to login with your GA account on the citilink site?
