Not new news, it seems but MU has a new 330-200 configuration 1-2-1 in BC coded the 33H.

China Eastern A330-200
I'm flying from PVG to Syd on MU a330-200 in business. Booked though delta. Delta says my seat is 8D. Do I need to confirm the seat assignment on that MU flight with MU directly? Thanks.

HNL-PVG used to have the 33E with the really nice F-like true lie flats (none of the coffin effect or odd angles of DL and other airline cheaper and poorly designed seats). Is the 33E aircraft not running on HNL-PVG any longer?

Has anyone flown the 33H (new 1-2-1 layout in J) or can point me toward a review or something? Looks like I just had a flight switch from 33E to 33H and am looking at which seats to pick.
I'm assuming it's relatively similar to the DL A330s (reverse herringbone from what I can tell), so we'll be going for middle seats. But I'm not sure if any of the rows are better/worse than the rest. I see the link above (http://ca.ceair.com/muovc/main/en_CA/News/News2653.html) but am wondering if we are better off in the forward cabin or the rear mini-cabin that is smaller but looks like very little division from galleys and coach seats?

Economy query - family of 3
Will be flying with my husband and a small 9 year old between LGW & PVA next April.
It’s a 330-200 in a 2-4-2 configuration. I think it’s a 33H.
My question is about row 43 in Economy.
I’ve plopped us into these seats in both directions but I’m wondering if anybody knows about the recline. These are the last seats in the front economy cabin with a wall for toilets and facilities behind us.
Also unsure how misaligned the entertainment screens might be.
Have been scrutinising photos on the internet but most feature the seats in the 2-3-2 configuration much further along at the very back of the plane.
Or would we be better off in one of these far back rows instead?
Since the flights coincide with the holidays for many British schools over Easter, I’m assuming they will be pretty full. We also like the idea of having a bit of space right next to us as LapChild usually makes friends on these trips and it’s great to be able to host a visiting kid. So as long as there is some recline, middle of row 43 does seem ideal for this.
