Nice to see this Forum back. :-)
I am told I am apparently one of the few FT'ers who use the "Forum Jump" drop down box at lower right, as my sole method of navigating around FT.
Today I noticed this forum had re-appeared after a brief vacation.
Good to see. ^

Welcome.
This forum introduces topics that are about FlyerTalk - its goals, its direction and its well being. I welcome you to start or contribute to any post in this forum that addresses a question you may have about FlyerTalk. While it is likely that I won't be able to answer your questions as fast as you can ask them, over time - and after some reflection - I will share with you my thoughts. And they remain just that, my thoughts.
Some times we'll end up on the same page with an issue, other times we won't, but that is what sharing thoughts is all about. At the end of the day, hopefully we'll both be happy that we have a forum that allows a free flow of questions and answers.

Is the reintroduction of this forum as a result of RP stepping down as moderator of the Air Canada Forum?
I may as well ask it here as well as anywhere else : when will we see the newly appointed moderator/s to said AC and AP Forum take up their duties?
Glenn, I use your FT surf method as well and that's how I found this Forum reopened.

Not sure of the source of your information but I'm not aware that I was stepping down as moderator of Air Canada. I plan on staying to continue to assist members in any way I can. As for the other part, the volunteers who assist in making any of those decisions as well have full-time jobs outside of FlyerTalk and sometimes it takes a bit longer when you try to do any research or gather input from candidates and other references. Maybe its like wine.... the decision just needs to age a little!
Hope this helps answer your questions.

Sorry Randy,
No source of information other than my own twisted imagination!
Now where's that vintage port I just bottled.

You should have told me - i just returned from Lisbon with 8 smuggled bottles of vintage port, and i left the dust on the bottles. Nowhere on FlyerTalk have I ever found a "twisted imagination". Twisted words, yes, but imagination? Huh!
