Signed up and it works a treat. Its surprising how faster FT runs, even on our souped-up corporate network. Now I just have to get used to reading it on a wider screen!
And - whilst I don't necessarily speak for everyone - I'd still be perfectly happy for FT to include affiliate links to the main hotel sites and airlines if it meant I could support the site without affecting the miles / points I get for the trip. A small link in the relevant forum would do the trick, eg an affiliate link to InterContinental in the PC forum - at least this way we'd know where to find it.

Thanks for listening Randy. I've been a subscriber for a few years and think this is a great compromise!

Will a FT Premium subscription give a user early access to Omni/Coupon Connection?

It gives no other rights and is in no way an increased F/T "status".

Thanks. Since I don't fly very much, I don't post as much as I would like despite loving the community. Guess I just need to interest myself in more conversations
As a side note, this new premium subscription sounds like a great idea...count me in as a near-future subscriber

Excellent, I'm all set up now with a new online subscription.
I suppose it's okay to say I was randomly chosen (Randy swears it was random, even though I had been one of those seeking a pay for no ads solution) out of a thread a while back to test the ad-free. I missed the new parts of this discussion while I was away at the end of last week. This evening the ads were on; my freeloading days were over.
(At least, I only noticed them this evening. Perhaps it was earlier, but I don't think I saw them this morning.) But this was all good, as I assumed it meant the ad-free system was now available for paying customers. Sure enough, here was the update I had missed.
All is now well, and I only had to see the ads for a short while tonight. Thanks again Randy!

Thank you! I've just subscribed and I am sooo pleased with the results - and at such a modest fee. Wide pages! Wow!
It's great at work where I have broadband, - and even better at home where I'm still using a 56k modem! ^
