Welcome!
Welcome.
This forum introduces topics that are about FlyerTalk - its goals, its direction and its well being. I welcome you to start or contribute to any post in this forum that addresses a question you may have about FlyerTalk. While it is likely that I won't be able to answer your questions as fast as you can ask them, over time - and after some reflection - I will share with you my thoughts. And they remain just that, my thoughts. Some times we'll end up on the same page with an issue, other times we won't, but that is what sharing thoughts is all about. At the end of the day, hopefully we'll both be happy that we have a forum that allows a free flow of questions and answers.
There's really only one restriction on this forum, one that has long been part of my philosophy on FlyerTalk. If you have a personal issue with another member, and that includes a moderator (as they are first and foremost members), then please direct that question or issue to me directly. Moderator issues, like member issues, are personal in nature, and as long as I have anything to do with FlyerTalk, I will strive to treat personal issues as personal. Those issues are best handled by writing me: [email protected]
Note: This forum will from time to time be made unavailable for viewing. That purpose is deliberate. Like many of you, I get out and travel and sometimes can go weeks and even a month of non-stop travel, most of which I will not have access to FlyerTalk. Rather than see questions pile up and disrespect members with no answers, it has been suggested and is a good idea that I close the forum when I don't believe I will have the time to address any questions - sort of like the "Open/Closed" sign at your favorite establishment. Hope that sounds reasonable. Thank you.
