And long may it so remain (InsideFlyer)
I was reading through my July issue of InsideFlyer yesterday (apropos since I was waiting to talk with my travel folks about an up-coming trip) and noticed the following comment by Randy on the matter of serving as Editor/Publisher of InsideFlyer:
I'm quite happy with the way "things are run around here" and hope they continue in the same vein for a very long time to come.
One of these days a real publishing company will probably scoop us up and change the way things are run around here, but as of today, we're enjoying a very long run in one of the ultimate hobby niches -- frequent flyer miles and points.

Nah, Randy deserves to cash out. And cash in.
And I bet he'd sponsor a huge FT bash to boot, when he gets his hundred mil from AOL-TimeWarner...

Would miss the fun, admire the cash out, expect nothing but a warm adieu!
I can only imagine the work it has taken to build this from an idea to site/sevice with a world wide readership and a lively loyalty.
Best wishes,

There are different ways to cash in;he could form a Limited Partnership and sell units to FTer's and others and stay on as General Partner if he loves the biz that much.......he then gets both money and satisfaction.

....and as long as the new owner, whoever it may be, leaves the Community forum alone and we can continue to have FlyerTalk Dos and get-togethers and meetups....
