No need to thank us for helping make FT what it is today. Without your kind support, generosity and vision this place would not be what it is today. Hats off to you for making this place a reality, and a welcome respite from the real world (and a place to hide with other travel freaks as necessary).

You do realize that your thread topic appears to say No Thank You when you meant to say, No, Thank YOU!, MapleLeaf.
While I most certainly agree with what MapleLeaf posted, I believe that it is also the contributions of FlyerTalk members, as well as the generous support offered by Randy Petersen, that makes FlyerTalk what it is today. It is a team effort, pure and simple and together we can make FlyerTalk even better, if that is possible...
Please allow me to take this opportunity to thank Randy Petersen as well as the various and wonderful FlyerTalk members that have contributed to the present-day version of FlyerTalk.

Well let me add my words of graditude to Randy and all the Flyertalkers. As with many of us, I have come to rely on FlyerTalk in many ways.
In addition to travel information in general, I enjoy the company of the members. And, like a guest at a big party, I sometimes just enjoy listening to the opinions of others without even making comment.
I've been impressed on a number of occasions by the intellectual prowess of Flyertalkers. It often gets better the more intense the debate becomes.
Finally, I turn to FlyerTalk every day. How's that for impact??

.I'll echo what both MapleLeaf, Canarsie and I'm sure others will also say.
Thanks to Randy Petersen for providing the means for FT and to the many other posters on this board for their camaraderie, friendship and advice. FT is an important part of my day and I receive...and hopefully return...a great deal of information on maximizing miles and points.
And we have a little fun doing so along the way and that just adds to the overall experience.

Randy has given us all many reasons to thank him.
My major one has been the opportunity to meet so many people on line who later became friends in person. Two of them, Canarsie and Cholula, have posted on this thread -- but there are at least 30 more.
