Is Randy Ryan Bingham?
I just read through the latest reports from Randy's whirwind journey, and I'm tired just reading, and only half of the journey has been posted yet! Yet, from the itinerary, it appears that the trip has ended yesterday at LAX, so welcome home Randy (whenever you do get back to COS!).
The reports remind me an awful lot of the the stories of Ryan Bingham of Walter Kirn's novel Up in the Air. Even more coincidental is the fact that it appears that one of Randy's sisters lives in Omaha. Isn't that where Ryan's fictious family dwelled?
So Randy, are you Ryan Bingham?? Are you Kirn's inspiration for his character? Or is it just a coincidence (the Omaha thing).

I think Ryan Bingham is ALL of us (although I did not like his attitude towards the poor cat of the woman he was traveling with.)
