Continental 1000 pt for online statement

MilesLink today touted the 1000 points for enrolling in on-line statements instead of paper. However, my copy of their Update newsletter has nothing about it nor does the website. I signed up but no 500 bonus has appeared. Could that program be over?

I received a confirmation from One Pass Customer Service, though the points have not appeared yet and it has been several days.

Karen, I signed up a week ago, received a confirmation e-mail, and haven't seen the points either. This offer may take a few weeks to post.

I signed up about 4 weeks ago...the 500 miles showed up in my account Friday! Now let's see if the other 500 show up after the 3-month "get your statements online" waiting period...

Trust me, it is a legit offer, in fact, I just received my statement in the mail and it is clearly listed on it. While I'm Lifetime Platinum, another employee also received their statement and it's on her's as well, and she's a base member.

While it is strange that the posting takes so long, this still remains a legit offer.

Thanks, Randy, for putting it up for us since Continental was not exactly advertising on all fronts. I await my points!

I signed up, and received a nice form email saying that my 500 miles would be credited at the end of May.

I emailed back saying that I was under the impression that it was 1000 miles. No, I was corrected, it is 500.

Don't know why the discrepancy.

Did the confirmation emails all mention the points? Mine didn't.

I did not get a confirmation email. When I go to my preferences on the One Pass web site, it shows my email address and the preference to get an online statement.

PG, FWIW, 4 members of my family signed up for this. 3 got confirmation emails. Mine didn't. So I updated the "email" page to turn it off, and then I turned it back on, and I got the confirmation email.

Thanks sosafan - I turned notification off and on and received the confirmation email. In my case too, the email said nothing about the 1000 pts. Randy - could you clarify if we would get the bonus. Thanks.

No points in any account. Has anyone gotten them with a confirmation that didn't mention miles?

Can't recall the 1k bonus being mentioned - nor have I personally received any miles/points!

I have not received the miles. I sent them an email and received a reply that they will correct this and the miles will show up in the next statement, but the miles did not post in the next statement.

This is a REALLY BAD IDEA... you're selling your soul to the devil for a lousy 1000 miles...
You might be interested that I have not recieved a statement or an updated statement online since 3-5. That will be 3 months without a statement in another week. I have over 50 filghts just hanging in space. And CO does not fix the problem when emailed.
