CheapPete ?
Doesn't this guys posts (same posts all over the place) promoting his own web site that contains undisclosed referral links to travel booking engines violate FTs terms of service?

I haven't seen CheapPete's posts (BTW, no relation
), but I have always wondered about where the line is drawn for "commercial" posts. Guess I'll go read the TOS again. There are several prominent and long-time FTers that "advertise" in their signature line. Not really an issue. However, I recall a few others doing this lately, in an obvious attempt to drive people to their sites.
UPDATE: Whoops, just saw one ( http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttr...ML/005928.html ). You're right - - these are blatant - - nothing more than a link. Inappropriate.

The above post from CheapPete was deleted as a violation of the Rules of FlyerTalk against blatant commercialism. Any other sighting of such from CheapPete or others can be posted here for some resolution.
