Randy, if possible, can you help on this problem with UA's Milage Plus offering one thing to members then delivering another?

You help would be greatly appreciated. Also UA and maybe other FF programs should be much clearer in the wording of their offers. They bandy terms about rather loosely and confusingly in my view.

A few months ago there was a live chat with some execs from UA. I believe that they mentioned that they and others from UA were lurkers on FT.
I would suggest first posting the link directly on the UA forum with an invitation to them to address your problem.

I took your advice and went to the United forum and posted a request for United Execs to fix this before it becomes a stain on their reputation The posting is at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum50/HTML/007038.html Let's hope the United execs prevail over what appears to be junior decision makers taking a hard line that looks bad for United.
