MILESBAR
Randy, milesbar appears to be an obvious fraud ... see the following message thread:
MilesBar - An Open Letter From S. Chenowyth
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum...ML/000961.html
What is most disturbing is they are using the FT forum to promote their "business." Is there anything that can be done to stop this? It appears that numerous FT members are being defrauded (credit cards being charged and no promised services, charges appearing on credit cards after cancelation of the service, etc...)

Randy,
I've done some digging which confirms Davenola's suspicions. Please read the thread, as I think it needs to be brought to the attention of the members of this board before more money is lost.

Thank you for the information. You are correct, this htread was a violation fo a FlyerTalk TOC, in that a thread may not be started with commerical interest in mind. I have posted the same on this thread and subsequently have closed it from addtional posting. It will die away, but i would suggest that a topical thread about it be the proper place for any debate. Indeed, the thread will most certainly gravitate to the same conclusions as you have raised but as we all know, this is not the first of these type of programs and more likely not the last - despite their insistance on using "miles" as the catch. I personally know nothing of this group but will attempt to educate myself.
Again, thanks for wanting to keep FlyerTalk on the up and up.
