Credits/Points vs. Mileage Programs
Randy,
What is your opinion on the pros and cons of "credit"-based frequent flyer programs, such as Southwest versus more common mileage-based programs. I had a discussion with a friend from Brazil who claims that TAM's program is superior to Varig's because TAM's is credit (points) based and is more generous and easy to understand.
