I'm not sure whether this should be posted here or in AA forum . . . sorry if this is the wrong place.

In reading about AA's 20K for 20 partners promo, I know that somewhere I saw a post that said $50 ought to do it. I believe it was posted by Randy.

I've searched both in AA and Only Randy forums, (using 20K $50); no luck.

Am I crazy? (Don't answer that!) Was the post deleted? Thanks!

I don't know where it was, but I remember reading it. I have also tried the search feature and cannot locate the statement.

The challenge is twice as fun for those of us who aren't US residents...

That said, I'm curious to see a "$50 solution" to the 20 for 20k puzzle.

Thanks, sosafan; I enjoyed reading that thread.

Unfortunately, it didn't turn up when I did my search with the parameters noted in my original post here as I had defaulted to "match all terms". Carelessness on my part, as even tho' these options are clearly noted on the search page, I was thinking I had to do the boolean thing and manually enter the "+" to do a "match all" search. Next time I'll select the "match any terms" option; I'll get a better result, even tho' longer to sort out. Live & learn!

Now, for luddgang's thread. It still seems to me that it's still referring to the quote that I'm also wondering about. And apparently luddgang also recalls Randy as the original poster.

Given these two threads exist about 20K for $50, and luddgang's has been up since 5/6, I can only assume that the possibility of this approach to AA's "challenge" has vaporized, along with the original post.

It's OK . . . I know Randy had med probs. Hope he's fine now!
