Great time at the Freddies.

Randy,
Thanks for a great afternoon at the Freddies. Your staff did a great job setting this up and you were a perfect host. Thanks also for the invitation and the opportunity to meet the people that make these programs really happen.

I had a great time as well. Kudos to Randy and the Webflyer/Liveflyer staff. Congratulations to all the winners, including Starwood Preferred Guest, who needed a large box to carry out their winnings.

I should have my pictures up by tomorrow.

They are in the 13th Annual Freddie Awards and Pre Freddies at the W albums. Enjoy.

Starwood needed probably more then a large box to haul away their awards which were some great looking Tiffany glass trophies.I would say they needed a u-haul! The Starwood camp went out beaming to say the least.I was highly moved by their sincere desire to win. Also how much they seem to respect & value Randy & the Flyer talk staff,Web Flyer boards and the publication itself. Hopefully this is because they really care about their clients.I guess you all beat me to it when you said how great the event ran
on Thursday.Randy and Karen are a great team and pulled it off together like the Pros they are smoothly with out a hitch.Very focused & entertaining. Randy has good hosting skills and a sense of humor.Knows how to keep things interesting. Karen made the ultimate stage partner. While I knew Randy was highly knowledgeable/informative it was fun to see this other side of him.Out of his very busy day of set up he also took the time to not only host the event but took the time to greet every last guest, executive and Flyer Talk member that attended personally.A special personal thanks to Hoyt Harper and the Starwood group who with no guarantee of winning (Hoyt had a bunch of great one liners when he spoke @ The W) threw a wonderful Pre Freddies get together bash before the big day at the Original and First W in New York.Does anybody know if this has been done in the past by any hotel group for the Freddies?

Well, it was a fun time, when most newly attended FlyerTalkers try to know and introduce oneself to identify who are the FlyerTalkers ....

Please, Randy, in the coming Freddies, make sure we do have nametags big ones, and not font size 10, unless those familiar faces are familiar to one like you Randy - got to shake hand with the Guru, at least, I will remember - Doc (looks like one doctor), MarkBach - the kid (ahem, can someone remind us what is the legal drinking age in US), Dhammer53 - (well, Dan with another Dan), Wharvey - with the spec and suit. jAAck and AAPlatinum, and of course Fallinasleep - (sorry if I spell your ID wrongly - another Asian looking face)

Wed And Thur Freddie events made me more serious and devoted to the FreqFlyer game, if that is possible. It soon will be a religious experience.

Congratulations to Randy and Staff for the fine job, and for giving us the opportunity to share in his Inside game. I was very impressed with Randy's commitment to us FreqFlyers and the companies, that make it all possible. A class act. Great food and 'beverages'. Two fun days in New York City with more miles and points.

The Hotel and Airlines, that are committed, showed up on the screen. Their employees are enjoying it as much as we are.

Interesting how many FlyerTalkers did not keep their reservations!
