DEAL ALERT

I have seen the San Jose - Paris and such deals posted under the airline forums. I feel that deals should be listed on a deal alert forum so one can quicky scan the deals of the minute rather than going through each airline.

I thought the MILEAGE RUN thread was the place for these. Am I wrong?

What wharvey said. And airline or Hotel instant points or pop up surveys etc have a place in The Buzz I feel it they appear to be time dated promos as many of them are.

Maybe a separate category could be created, like Best Fares and their Snooze You Lose Fares. That way, people won't be disappointed when they find out they were 3 days late on a fare. Other than that, maybe deleting one of the deal alerts after the sale has finished could save us time.

I will however mention that I appreciate the forum with the alerts as I was one of the lucky ones to fly DCA-LAX for $120 on Continental. If it were'nt for the posting, I would have missed it. However, the SFO-Paris run was frustrating as I found out a day late and still see people posting on how they can obtain the offer.
