Most Frequent Flyer?
A discussion came up on the Delta board about wishes for Delta's Medallion program, and T. Wallace Hawkes III came up. He is an executive (not sure what industry) from Tampa, FL, and is Delta's most frequent flyer, with over 4 million miles in his account. The Tampa Tribune ran an article about him a year or two ago. They interviewed him. He said that he flies Delta to Europe or domestically at least once a week.
I was wondering if there are any facts about other airlines' most frequent fliers? Just curious of their stories. Also, it makes me happy that I don't travel that much! Do these most frequent fliers get special benefits? Probably.
Randy, got any information? After all, you are the source.
Thanks!

I met a person yesterday who said he was told by UA that he was their number 2 or 3 ff. He flies over 300K miles a year, spending about 280 nights in hotels around the world.
He also mentioned that the #1 UA ff is a US Marine document courier who flies between Washington and Tokyo on a regular basis!!

Although I have no details, I was told there is an AA FF who has racked up 8-10 million miles.

I fly over 300,000 miles per year but I don't keep track of the hotels. I don't do all United though. About 200K with United, 100K with BA and about 50K or so with the rest.
