Visa / MC Forum
There's always something new going on in the cc industry that includes us frequest flyers! And I'd imagine we'd be hard pressed to find anyone around here that doesn't carry at least one card besides AMEX and Diner's that does something to one of their FF/FS accounts (besides AMEX and Diners of course)! Just a suggestion, here, of course. I think I remember you mentioning at one point that this might occur. As usual, thanks for listening to the masses!

One of the few clear cases where another forum is a good idea!

Randy-
Setting up a MC/Visa board should be a top priority. Credit cards already have their own area and having only the expense acount/business cards like Amex and Diner's leaves out a huge portion of the FF market. Firstcard has a huge number of MC and Visa customers tied into United and other cards do too.
Currently, posts on these cards are jammed into the individual airlines' boards, or when there is news, into one of the news boards at the top.
I thought Webflyer had mentioned months ago that a MC/Visa board was on the way.

Yes, I had posted the VISA/MC area as the next addition some months ago. It wasn't easy because there are major card such as the AAdvantage Visa and the not-so-major cards by other airlines. Include a thread for each one or an open area. Anyway, we're going with an open area and are just waiting to go "live" with our new server since we didn't want to make the changes "in-transit" We are just now completing the changeover to the new server (actually changed host companies and went to a dedicated server) and it will be up over the next 2 weeks. Hope this helps everyone, we didn't forget, we've just got some tech stuff in the background to consider.....

Wanderlust,
Was "FREQUEST FLYERS" intentional or a typo? If it was a typo, can I steal the concept? I love it. It make me feel like Don Quixote!

No, no type-0 there. But you're welcome to it, Punki. Just remember where your inspiration came from!!

It is easy to forget the huge technical demands on a site like Webflyer.
The credit card open area sounds like a good way to handle the topic-discussions can vary based on which card is hot and which one is hotter. It should be very helpful.
Thanks very much.

Randy,
It's been said before, but when it comes to responsiveness you guys are the best - and these forums don't even (directly) bring in revenue!
If you ever decide to go into the Web site business for others, please let me know.

Hello Randy:
Was there a delay in getting your new dedicaated server up and running?
I'm sure we are all anxiously awaiting the new open visa/mc area to go live!
Thanks.

I agree. Credit card information is very useful. I'm learning a lot by reading the various forums and topics.

I guess there's no harm in using this spot for Visa/MC until the new topic is opened up.
FirstUSA has acquired the Firstcard accounts tied to UAL. So far, they seem to be an improvement-they have a website:
http://www.firstusa.com
I just went up there and registered, which allows me to see my statements online. It also allows for paying online, which I haven't tried yet.
