Getting AA's AAIM Directory
Randy-- Back when AA started the Exclusive program, which no longer exists, right? (But then, it's still printed on my statement.) One of the things included in the package was suspose to be AA's AAIM (American Advantage Incentive Miles) directory that listed all of the big and small merchants/companines/organizations etc. that were offering miles. I've tried to get one from AA for quite awhile, and I've never had any of the requests come through. Do you know of any way to snag such a thing or who to speak with to get one?

Well, you bring up a sore subject with AA. I too signed up for the AAdvantage Exclusives program which had great promise for a fee-based enhancement for that program. It is my understadning that they were never able to really coordinate the communications of the program and only published one very, very weak guide. The program is no longer around and in theory the membership has lapsed, but in good faith, let me go back to the President of the AAdvantage program and get you an "official" answer.....

Thanks, I'd be very interested in what his answer is. In reality, the AAIM directory shoould be out in the public, should it not? It'd surely benefit the flyers, AA, and the merchants, and help each meet their objective.
