What's the problem with your IT dept?

Hi Randy,

Sorry to bother you about this, but if you check the Technical Issues forum for threads about, for instance, comments shooting off the edge of the screen, you'll find that a number of FT members have had problems that your IT folks said they'd look into but after a few days have not even commented on.

Aside from that, I love FT, but it's really become a pain to use over the past several days. If the problem is on the members' end and there's nothing FT can do about it, so be it. But just as we all expect airlines, hotels, etc. to at least acknowledge issues beyond their control, it would be good to get some feedback on a problem that your IT folks are aware of.

I second the question about the IT department. Almost a week has passed since the last IT post.

I third it. I was exasperated and ready to abandon the site, until I saw the clue about ....... from Firefox. Smooth sailing since then...

But seriously, if posters have to block the ads because of a technical problem...
