Travel originating from Toronto, Canada
Hello.
I've done many searches on different websites for travel that originates from Toronto, Canada to either Sydney, Australia, parts of Europe, Africa, or Asia and have always found them to be very expensive. Wondering if anybody else has had any luck or can offer any suggestions?
Also, I know that Priceline only works from the US. Is there anything similar that can originate from Toronto?
Cheers,
gtrekker

For cheap flights, you might consider using Priceline to bid for tickets out of Buffalo. You would have to arrange for a post office box or use an American friend's address for the shipping address, though, in case you got paper tickets.
There are several cheap charter options for flights to Europe. I am looking at all of the following (although I will depart from YVR or SEA):
http://www.canadianaffair.com
http://www.flyzoom.com
http://www.airtransat.com
http://www.selloffvacations.com
http://www.itravel2000.com
http://www.thomascook.ca
With these, I'm mostly looking at European destinations.
For Africa, Asia, and Australia, I would go and talk to someone at a TravelCuts or STATravel office, and get some tips. I'd also suggest watching the travel section in the paper carefully.
And - post at http://www.eurotrip.com/forum in the Cheap Flights section. Don in particular is a knowledgeable poster there.
