Expedia and flight credit
I feel I should know the answer but I am seeing conflicting information.
If I book a flight with Airline A using Expedia and need to cancel. Do I maintain flight credit with Expedia and can use that credit to book a flight on Expedia with Airline B? Or does it stay as a credit for Airline A?
I am considering a flight on a carrier I am unlikely to book again for years. It needs to be a non-refundable ticket (for reimbursement), so ability to transfer to a different airline, just in case, would be preferable.
TIA

Pretty sure the credit (for NON-REF tickets) stays with the ticketing airline irrespective of booking through reputable (O)TA (the irreputable OTAs are a different kettle of fish) or even directly with the ticketing airline.
