online TA selling IRan bound tickets

why expedia and others are not selling IKA bound tickets , travelling on TK or others ?
No embargo as far as i know on the destination itself, only financial transaction to/from Iran ?
looks weird to lose potential business...

From what my TA friend said it's about avoiding any possibly of coming close to, being accused of or even suspected of violating the policies established by the US Office of Foreign Assets Control.
