Multiple Destinations, Expedia only?

Multiple Destinations, Expedia only?
I see the option that Expedia has, where i can put in 2 destinations for a package (fly into one city, hotel there, and fly out another city, with a hotel there).
1. I could'nt see this option on PL or Orbitz, does anyone else offer this option.
2. Are the ressies "connected". I assume if you dont check into one of the hotels, it has no effect on the flight ressies, unlike if you skip a leg of one of your flights...
