Transfer Question in Buenos Aires airports

As the part of AONE5, we fly from Sao Paulo to Buenos Aires by BA and then transfer to domestic airport(Aeroparque Jorge Newbery) for Iguazu by LAN Argentina.
The JAL agent did not know how far those airports are, so she booked us with 3 hours connecting time.

The system allowed the connecting flight with 3 hours connecting time.
Is this enough time considering immigration and pick up luggage and clear the custom, and then take taxi or shuttle to domestic airport around noon time?

What is the best way for transfer between those two airports, by Taxi or any airline shuttle?

Thanks in advance

This is the website for the major provider of airport transfers to both the center of the city and between airports. You Can by ticket with credit card as you exit customs before you get to the public area. With 2 or 3 persons I would get a cab from them . 40 peso each for bus and 141 peso for a cab . The bus stops in the city center first so a cab would be quicker.

The airports are a very long way apart. EZE is second only to NRT in its driving distance from the city center (where AEP is) in my experience. There is NO WAY IN H#LL I would try this with a 3 hour connection although it may be technically possible.

EZE AEP is 19 miles direct. Say 50 to 100% more by road 30 ~ 40 miles. Take a Taxi

When I was in BA 5 years ago did not think EZE was a long way from the city centre.

Another possibility is to fly from Brazil to Foz de Igua airport on the Brazilian side. It's only a short drive from there to the park on the Argentine side, where there is a very nice Sheraton with full view of the falls from many rooms. There is also a much fancier (and more expensive) hotel on the Brazilian side, but it has no view of the falls.

You can walk from BA city centre to AEP. But its a long walk (especially in summer weather ). 10 yrs ago it took me about 90 min (or was it closer to 2 hrs?) to do the bus from EZE to city centre.

3 hrs is way too short for using bus connections. As others have said, if you persist on a 3 hr connection, a taxi is your ONLY option.

Everyone here, thank you so much for valuable information.

I will change the flight from Buenos Aires to Iguazu.
I will stay overnight at BA and leave large luggage at the hotel(one of starwood hotels)
and go Iguazu on the following day with small carry on bag as the side trip.

In that case, should I take early morning flight from BA since the original schedule was transit, not a stopover in BA??? I believe I should depart from BA within 24 hours of arrival in order to keep it as TRANSIT.

Thanks again!

If you change to a stopover then this could trigger a recalculation of taxes. YMMV.
