Sector Upgrade from Business to First?

Hi Folks,

My first post here at Flyertalk.

Am intending to book a DONE4 soon for travel next July and after some searching here and on the OW website, could not find if you can upgrade a sector from Business to First and if so how much?

Can any one point me in the right direction if the possibility exists?

BYW I am referring to using $$ to upgrade, not points.

Cheers

Welcome to FT Chesty

Unfortunately the rules explicity state that individual sectors on a xONEx cannot be upgraded. The specific wording in the rules is:
16 (c) 4) Upgrading by sector to Business/First class is not permitted.

So you cannot PAY to upgrade a sector from D to A, but if you have the points in the FF program of the carrier operating the sector then you can use them to upgrade.
