Some harmless weekend One World fun!
Just a silly thread about what would be your ideal One World airline......
Mine would be an airline where:
AA ran the call center
BA provided the planes
AY provided the food
CX provided the cabin crew
JL provided the check in staff
QF provided the wine
Now as for the lounges its a toss up between BA and CX
Any better thoughts? Or what would the nightmare combination be

But please don't let BA install very much on the planes....their IFE systems and Y seating are really awful. And please don't let them anywhere near the gates (v.poor boarding process).
LA currently has a superlative J seat and IFE. Just don't let them anywhere near the check-in desk.....

Yes LA was nearly my choice for on board - but IMHO the BA seat in J just beats it - I think the privacy thing - but I certainly agree don't let LA anywhere near the boarding process - they would come under the nightmare combination

BA for the way they treat their Golds
AA for the redemption
JL for on board service with a hint of QF
CX for F
BA/LA for J
QF for the exclusive lounges, JL a close second but BA for the outstation ones
BA for the OLCI/Website
JL for the ground handling
BA for the call centres (when Gold its great)
ME for a passenger

This is correct. Even though I read the posts I can't even imagine why someone would prefer another OW airline's FC lounge to the SYD F lounge. Makes me doubt their sanity.

I would be choosing RJ for the food and flight attendants.
The food in Crown Class I could rave on about for days on end... the service also. They're a brilliant airline in Crown... flown with them several times - never flown them in Y though
