HKG Lounge for RJ flight
Apologies if the answer to this question already exists – I've searched and have not been able to find it, so I hope someone on here can enlighten me.
I'm OW Sapphire, and will soon be flying HKG-BKK return on RJ. Do RJ use CX's Wing/Pier Lounge, or do they direct passengers to the JL or QF/BA Lounges? I know HKG quite well, so would prefer to use The Wing.
The same question applies for the return sector. The RJ website mentions the CIP Lounge, which I would assume is a Third Party/Shared Lounge. I've not travelled through the new BKK airport, so with OW Sapphire access I'm open to suggestions as to which of the CX, JL or QF/BA Lounges would be recommended.
Thanks in advance for any help/answers/suggestions.

Well as a Sapphire you can employ the [open] oneworld J lounge of your preference. At HKG this included the Wing/Pier - I personally would not bother with the BA/QF Lounge.
At BKK I do not know which lounge RJ may employ.
JAL have a lounge but I have not seen it - more here: http://www.jal.co.jp/en/inter/lounge/asia/bkk/.
The QF J lounge is OK- it's across the concourse from the CX lounge and far better. This does depend upon the time of your flight and whether the lounge is open.

Thanks serfty, my preference in HKG is always the Wing. I guess the gate which RJ operate from will dictate whether it's the Wing or the Pier that I end up using.
As for BKK, I'll endeavour to use the QF J Lounge as an Aussie living in the UK, it's almost like coming home being in a QF Lounge (amost!).
Thanks for your advice.

The JL lounge in HKG is... decent. It's also a pain in the neck to get to- you have to walk past the VS Clubhouse, an AF lounge, and maybe one other to get back to it.
There's nothing in it that makes it worth leaving the Wing/Pier. I just went in to look around when goiung from the Wing to the Pier.
