AA RTW desk says this is an invalid routing?

Strange...

My Canadian TA says that AA RTW desk says the following is invalid because there are 5 segments for continent of origin ASIA. The online tool let's me book this series, but I'm going through a TA so I can get the lower AA Fuel Surcharges. Can anyone validate the itinerary, or better yet give me the name of an agent as the AA RTW desk who they've worked with in the past?

ICN-HKG-PER-SYD-LAX-YYZ-DFW-ANC-DFW-LAX-LHR-DXB-LHR-HKG-CGK-NRT-ICN

AA says the ICN-HKG, HKG-PER, HKG-CGK, CGK-NRT, NRT-ICN count as 5 segment for continent of origin, but shouldn't HKG-PER be one of the international flights and not count towards the 4 segment inter-Asia?

I don't think there is a problem with the number of segments.
I think the problem is that you cannot have more than two stopovers in the continent of origin, Asia.
Currently it looks as though you have four: HKG, HKG, CGK, NRT.
What you need to do is specify two of those as transits i.e take the next flight within 24 hours of arrival.

All of the asia flights are transit flights. Longest gap between the next flight is 6 hours.

Putting it through the oneworld validator (http://slfft.allhyper.com/0.95/award.htm) shows it as valid.

Your only Asian segments (Asia-Asia) are:
1: ICN-HKG: 1st of 4 (Asia)
...
14: HKG-CGK: 2nd of 4 (Asia)
15: CGK-NRT: 3rd of 4 (Asia)
16: NRT-ICN: 4th of 4 (Asia)

HKG-PER is an "Intercontinental flight" and cannot be considered as part of your "Free Flight Segments within each continent" quota:
4. FLIGHT APPLICATION/ROUTINGS
...
(h)
A minimum of 3 and maximum of 16 segments, including surface segments between any 2 airports, are permitted for the entire journey. Free flight segments within each continent are limited as follows:
Africa 4
Asia 4
Europe / Middle East 4 (Not more ...)
North America 6
South America 4
South West Pacific 4

I think the AA desk just has a problem with geography and thinks Perth is part of Asia, not Australia. Just give them a map and that should solve the problem.

How many times are you stopping over in Asia (i.e. stay in HKG, HKG, CGK, NRT for over 24 hours)?

I believe you are only allowed two stopovers in the continent of origin (which is Asia).
