Same flight number but 1 stop at BOM
I am sorry if this has been answered.
I have to change the AONE5 schedule now.
There is a flight from HKG to DXB using a new First Class seat.
However, this flight has one flight number but one stopover at BOM.
Does this count as 2 sectors in terms of *ONE* max 16 sector rule?
Since I already used full 16 sectors, I can not have anymore additional sector.

As long as you book it as one single flight under one single stopover (meaning you don't spend 24+ hours in BOM and get back on the flight the next day), then yes, it will only count as 1 of the 16 segments despite the two actual flights.

WRONG... That would require 2 coupons, so that would be 2 flight segments. It only counts as 1 flight if you stay on the plane.

At BOM, can we stay on the plane?
or we have to get off once and board again with other new passengers from BOM?
Actually, we have a non-stop flight to DXB, but that uses the old first class(I know it is still good).

Whether you stay on the plane or not is irrelevant. If it is booked as HKG to DXB as a single flight number then it is 1 segment. If stop over in BOM for more than a day then it is 2 segments.

The answer to the OP's question is that it counts as one segment. You book DXB-HKG and travel DXB-HKG on a single flight number then it doesn't matter whether it stops en route or whether you get off the plane or not. You will get one boarding pass at DXB which takes you to HKG. You might have to, or be able to, get off the plane briefly at stops en route, but you would simply go to a holding area in the airport and then reboard after the plane has been cleaned / re-provisioned.

I have experienced the previous First before, and that was when the previous seat was introduced, quite some time ago.
Since then, I tried Emirates, Singapore, JAL and ANA.
Now, many people said New CX First is as good as or even better than others.
Since it is the only short stopover at BOM and that flight is the day flight(My original flight is leaving HKG at 11:55PM, almost midnight), I think I can enjoy this flight.

I just want to make sure I totally understand your point here. As an example, I was thinking about a YYZ - UVF on AA as part of a DONE4. Now, on the AA timetable, it show the flight having one stop (presumably in MIA since the times line up), but a single flight number AA2297. When I do an itinerary check with the online OWE tool, it says this flight uses two segments. Is this a glitch in the system?
For a North America BA FF-led series, this would mean I could do YYZ-UVF-LAX-YYZ-UVF-LAX-JFK for all my 6 segments (1 transcon) and have flights over 2,000 miles to get 120 TP's, even though all of the flights with the exception of LAX-JFK have stops? That can't be correct can it?
