Status Match in OW
I am currently AF/KL Platinum (equivalent to Emerald in OneWorld) and would like to know whether any of OW carriers offers status match. I have specific interest in LAN, AA or BA. Any experiences?
Currently CO is offering status match for SkyTeam members to migrate to StarAlliance.
Tks,

In order to become Platinum in Flying Blue (AF/KL) if you reside in France you need 90,000 miles and if you reside outside France you need 70,000 miles. In the case of LAN you can become Emerald (Comodoro) with 90,000KM or about 55,000 miles (provided you fly 6 biz class segments with LA or AA). This means that it is actually easier to become Emerald in OW than Platinum in Flying Blue's AF/KL program!

Status match with One World or Star Alliance
I am FB Platinum and, after the recent dramatic announcements by Air France/KLM on their new mileage policy, I am certainly considering switching to another mileage programme.
What are the possibilities of:
1) Getting BA Gold on a status match switch. Any other possibilities with other One World airlines?
2) Getting LH Senator on a status match switch. Any other possibilities with other Star Alliance airlines?
Thanks.

BA generally doesn't comp but has the very easy to reach Euro-gold level. LH definitely comps but SEN is not easy to get (you have to show revenue as well as miles). BD used to be the easiest comp for Star (that may have changed now). Even AA will comp EXP in exceptional circumstances, so all airlines comp if you have a good enough bait.
