Iberia Plus or AAdvantage

I am traveling twice next year on American and half the flight to europe is on Iberian. Should I register thru Iberia Plus or AAdvantage to be treated best?

Could you give us an idea of what you mean by "treated best", i.e., miles, food, lounges, etc.?

yes, i mean best seat/not bumped....i was wondering if even tho they are both part of the oneworld, would they treat you better if you were a member of 'their' group?

If bump avoidance and best seat selection is important then only elite status earned by flying many miles with the airline will help you. As you will only be newly registered with either airline you should not expect any benefit.
