OW information help - website blocked in China
Oneworld rep
I need some help here. I am an Australian residing in China and can't get through to the one world site ( I think because its got the same name as a workers rights site!)
I need some details on the circle Asia / India fares( business class). I am happy to correspond by email with someone ther if that address could be forwarded. Is there anyway of logging onto to oneworld without going through the main website.
I could phone Hong Kong CX but that's going to cost an arm and a leg.
Thanks fior your help
Alan

You can also contact any oneworld airline or you can try a travel agent for assistance. The oneworld.com folks do not provide direct travel related services to the public that is provided by the member airlines.

(it's too busy right now but it worked earlier for me to get to a site normally blocked at work).
Failing that, google for "proxy", "web proxy" etc. I'm interested to know how you get on.

Christep has graciously provided this link to the CX version of the rules for the oneworld products.

Many thanks
Many thanks to everyone that has helped here. It has been much appreciated. FYI I managed to get onto a proxy site www.V2u.info and view the OW website which was great, couldn't download files but have asked Kiwi Flyer to send me some pdfs. Thanks to Christen for the fares and rules.
This is a great forum and once again my thanks to everyone.!!

I'd think the Chinese government doesn't bother about any inconvenience or commercial damage to OW as long as no mainland Chinese carrier is participating. If for example China Eastern should join the block will probably be lifted the next day.

This server sits in a different country and will just forward your data to the onworld site and vv. For the censors it looks as if you are just talking to a server in the US or Australia and not to the OW site.

Welcome to FT, alangeol! The technical way around this is by using a proxy server. You will find addresses of those servers by googeling them.
